The NFRSA (National Foundation for Retired Service Animals) is a registered charity (1200949) supporting retired police, fire, prison, NCA, NHS, and border force dogs and horses by helping with medical bills.
When they retire, financial support ends, leaving handlers burdened with food, medical, and care costs. Insurance can be costly, risking separation due to financial strain. We ensure they stay with their families.
Since launching in May 2022, we’ve gifted over £120,000 to animals in need. Membership is free, and we work alongside 14 charities supporting retired service animals.
Our mission is clear: Protect Our Protectors.
